My first vacation in Daytona was in a secluded area that was very bad on the eye. There was no place close to even get a sandwich. The bathroom smelled like old wet baby diapers. I put in a maintenance request and they came in and took the faucet in the sink apart. I paid the person that was taking care of my unit to keep the bathroom refreshed so smell would not be so strong. Also, the only amenities were the pool and the beach. I called several times to complain about the bathroom, especially that it was right across from the kitchen.... Read more

I wish I would have read some of the reviews before I signed on the dotted line. This is the biggest waste of money I've ever seen. We've taken two vacations over the last two years and could have gone cheaper with airfare included through Groupon or Travelocity. Please do not sign up with this company it is a complete scam. The salesman are very high pressure. Run away and run away fast before you get sucked into a vacation nightmare that will last the better part of 10 years. we bought our package in 2014 and have never used the system. This company wont let you sell it or get rid of it and we don't own any properties. This is a vacation club and they shouldn't treat us like a timeshare if we don't have a deed. This company is the worst ever and their customer service is the worst ever. If it didn't affect my credit I would stop paying the useless package because you can never get anywhere you want or during the time you want. DO NOT BUY PLAN WITH TAN!!!! Read more

I agree this program is horrible I paid over $6000 for three years and still owe $6000. I have not used any of my packages. I don't know how this is not illegal and then to charge me almost $500 a year for what a subscription fee. Oh and then when I tried to book today they wanted to charge me $660.25 for Laguna Bay Villas ok its a Villa not bad, but then I go on their site to see more pictures they are booking it same place same amount of rooms for $513.00. I have been trying to book a week somewhere where "I" want to go and stay, this company can not offer me anything I want. This company have more loop holes than a fish net. Sorry you are booking during peak, sorry the rooms you want are not available, sorry we do not have property there. Its always something with this company. I hate we got hooked into purchasing the mess of a vacation deal. Two freaking years of paying for this mess and still we are not able to book what we want. I'm a paid in full PlanWithTan, Sunstream Vacations, Timeshare member. I enrolled in 2001 for 30 plus prepaid vacation weeks to any property Sunstream was affiliated with and would become part of. The sales pitch was to pay 2001 prices for vacation weeks that would surely become economically more expensive due to our inflationary times. I have been a member of TAN for many years. They have made it harder and harder to book a vacation in the summer. Previously, I used to be able to fax in a form with a preferred location and weeks, and a friendly advisor would call me, offer different options, and hold them for free for 24 hours. This was helpful since my daughters work and I had to find out if they can take vacations then. They don't provide this service anymore. When I started with them, they told me something different than what is in the agreement, and I did signed it. It is very hard to find a good booking as you want, so what are they doing? They saied to us that annual fees will be detected first time to activate then next years you can stop and dont pay and still you can use the 12 weeks as we allready paied for it and only the access inventory will be not there. I hear you as if your complaint is an echo in my brain. I've been with them over a decade. We're not "plan ahead" people. Our business has never allowed us that ability. Finally, we were set to go on a cruise our of Florida. I called to get a room somewhere in the ENTIRE state but was amazed there was "no room at the inn" for me or my wife. Anywhere.
